Andrea Lowenthal, Esq. practices in New York City and the Hudson Valley. The practice includes Estate Planning; Elder Law; Medicaid Planning; Trusts; Wills; Guardianships; Special and Supplemental Needs Trusts; and other Advance Directives including Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies and Living Wills.

Andrea Lowenthal, Esq has been a Member of the New York State Bar since 1989.  Member of the NYS Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, WealthForum LLC, and charter member of ElderCounsel LLC.  Co-Editor of the Elder Law Attorney (published by the New York State Bar Association), and a member of the Law & Aging Committee of the City of New York Bar Association.

Prior affiliations include practice as an Associate with Shearman & Sterling from 1988 to 1992, focusing on public and private offerings and bank financing.  Director and Senior Counsel in Corporate Law, and later Director in Investment Banking/Strategic Development, with Merrill Lynch & Co. from 1994 2002.
